Vision – Where we want to be

To set up the South West Winterguard Academy as an affordable, sustainable non-profit making community youth group, offering young people of both sexes, from any cultural or ethnic background, area and abilities in the South West the opportunity to take part in an instructed activity called `Colourguard’. This is a dance based activity using flags and other equipment, to perform a routine to music as part a team to compete in competitions. Although we are based in Bradley stoke we have young people coming from all over South Gloucestershire including Patchway, Filton, Whitchurch, Stoke Gifford, Little and Bradley Stoke and even further a field.

The fees covers all equipment and instructors. We take safety of the children very seriously so all our Instructors and volunteers involved directly with children are CRB checked, with a First Aider and First Aid Box at every practice. We also have £5 million public liability Insurance.
